A fanlisting is a web clique that lists fans of a particular subject. Unlike most web cliques, a person does not need a web site in order to join. ABOUT SHA JIEN
Sha Jien is Sha Gojyo's older half-brother - they share the same father, but Gojyo's mother was a human woman. Jien was very close to his brother when they were younger: he took over parental responsibility as his mother despised Gojyo for being proof of her husband's infidelity. As a result of his mother's hatred for Gojyo, Jien was finally forced to choose between killing her or allowing her to kill Gojyo - he chose to save his brother. After this, he disappeared. Eventually, Jien met Kougaiji. He saw his brother in Kougaiji and swore to protect him. After this, Jien took on the name 'Dokugakuji' and became Kougaiji's guardian. And that's a fairly crap summing up of Jien's backstory, but I've not read the manga for a while so - until I get around to rereading it - it'll have to do -_-;

SITE INFO / CREDITS
This fanlisting was opened on 22nd February 2006. It is currently in its first version, featuring various images of Sha Jien. The images were scanned by me (Cate) from various Saiyuki manga and edited in PSP9 using brushes from Lush Brushes. Html was coded crappily in Notepad.

CHOICES is so called because of the choices Sha Jien makes in his life and how they effect himself and his family. The quote featured in this layout is: "Man. Life's pretty crazy, huh? But I chose this path, and I can't give it up now." and is said by Dokugakuji to Gojyo when they meet up in Volume 3 only to find they're on opposite sides.
